Reminds you of a certain event

It all started when my sister Nikki was going to get married and move out the night obefore she got married My sister Kristy and I  got our fake microphones ya know a brush and a turkey baster (sp?)  and in our room danced and sang this song to her of course by the end all three of us were dancing and singing and cryingthen in a big hug crying!! knowing this was the end of a chapter in our lives  where us sisters were just sisters we were still Dad and mom's little girls and we all lived in the same house under the same roof and still had to answer to mom and dad ...this is what we wond't to leave with our sister and ever since then on the night before we each got married us sisters spent the night  at my parents house one last time and  me and nikki sang this song for kristy and then kristy and nikki sang and danced for  me for the last time were could do this for us sisters since i was the last to get married... but now when i hear this song i think of those 3 memories of singing and dancing with my sisters on the night before we got married

This song reminds me of Young Arizona :) on the good old Ranch listening to the radio with that HUGE boom box! listening to country music and for some reason this song reminds me of those summer days in Young! I love it! cause I remember hearing it for the first time either in young or on the radio on the way to young....but i love it and i love Reba!

A song that Reminds you of Someone

This song  reminds me of my Daddy....He is indeed one of my Hero's for sure and i love that he always made me feel like a princess and was so supportive of me in all that i did. He taught me how to fish, catch a ball, slide pitch a ball, hit a free throw shot and box out he taught me how to know that the only difference between a stepping stone and a stumbling block is how high you lift your foot...that when life gives you lemons you better make lemonade that life is tough and hard but its alot easier if you smile ...that love is all that matters and love makes the world go round  oh and that walking in public with his beautiful  daughters and wife is good for his reputaion...lol I love my Daddy

Song that makes you Sad

This song is really tough for me. It makes me very sad. but not in a way that most would think. Its a beautiful song and the lyrics are touching and amazing. It gives me hope but when I listen to it..well it reminds me of when I miscarried at 2 months and I was certain that it was a boy. So when I heard this song I felt like it was written just for me and it was very healing to me but now when I hear it...I almost always cry because it reminds me of the darkest days of my life.  This is why I love music so much! in words that i can't express this song expresses it for me. It truely touched my heart. But it still makes me sad.

This song Makes me oh so very Happy!! My sister and I use to Jam out to this song when we needed a pick me up and just feel good!  I can still remember putting the cd in the player and singing in the mirror with my older sista Kristy and just feeling good and its so silly but in those moments with my sister cause believe me it happen often! I felt so close to her as if our souls were singing to eachother.. I know silly and it probably makes me sound crazy but It was special to me . Well my least favorite song is not one I will post on my Blog cause duh I don't like it...but its Katy Perry's " i kissed a girl" I love Katy Perry but i hate that song! also Lady Gaga's "born this way" I'm not a fan of either of those songs...

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger...

Well last night Lance and I had a very long talk which I always love and of course tears came like always lately for me.
 There are somethings I will never understand but thats okay I have come to realize that life is full unknowns and things we can't rap our heads around.
I have been frustrated lately with the fact that is June now and we MC in December and given the green light to TTC since February. I think I just thought we would get preggers right away since my body knows how but that hasn't been the case and between wanting to have a baby we have both been scared because of the fear of losing one again.
 I don't know how I got so blessed to have such a great husband he is seriously the sweetest thing ever! last night we were talking about alot of stuff and Mr McGee for the first time actually said to me that he was scared and then the next thing he said made me cry and just fall in love with him all over again he said  "I don't like to see you hurt and in pain and that really hurt." and i said sweetheart thats out of your control. and then he said " but its my job to protect you form pain and hurt."

My sweet husband always wanting to make sure I'm happy and safe and free of anything painful or heartbreaking....I had to remind him of the ultimate plan. with out pain we would know no Joy. and it was such a sweet moment. I know the MC was hard on him but I forgot that it was probably harder on him cause he had to be the one to catch me and pick up the pieces and how much that must of hurt him to see me in so much pain and heartache and all he could do was watch and hold me through it all. He is such a great man and an amazing husband I know without a shadow of doubt he is going to be the most amazing Daddy ever!

I'm pretty sure in the pre-exsitence when Heavenly Father called me up to give me my mission and let me know what I was about to get myself into on Earth ..when it came to this part in my life I probably cried and he assured me it would be okay cause he was going to make sure that through all of this heart ache and pain he would put a righteous amazing sweet caring and loving man named Lance McGee next to me to hold hands with through it all and that that he was going to help me through it. and that has made all the difference.

I have hope and I have faith that all the things I don't understand and ask why? its not really important its how I make it through even if i don't know why and i don't understand i know Heavenly Father loves me and Lance and that no matter what thats really all that matters. just some days are harder than others :)

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's End...

We have had a very busy May! Our trip to Europe, Statton and Jessica got married and our Little Sister Tess Graduated!! as Salutitorian no less :) She is amazing!! She starts at BYU on June 17th!! Its crazy to see how fast time flies and how much she has grown up! I can't believe she is old enough to leave home now! between her leaving for Utah and us for Texas its gonna be a while before we see eachother and thats not cool :( but thats Life :) I can't find the photos took of Graduation so i'll post those later but on our way up to Holbrook we stopped to take this pretty picture

Okay so our trip to Italy was amazing and we took alot of pictures so I am posting Just Venice for now on FACEBOOK it takes way to long on this blog thing! lol so for now i'm getting Venice since it was our first stop in Italy and then i will add more as i get the time! lol i will put one or two pictures of each place here still but after i get done with facebook I wish it didn't take so long on this blog cause i like this better than facebook but oh well

VENICE!

I started a journal while were were on our trip so here it is.....this is the first 4 days of our trip!! :) VENICE

April 27th or is it April 28th lol so we Arrived at Sky Harbor ready to go at about 6 30ish when we were driving AA called us to inform us that our plane had been delayed an hour. By the time we got to the air port it was delayed 2 hours we checked in and asked them about our connecting flight in Chicago because we would only have about 30 minutes to get off the plane and get to our next flight so they moved us to us airways to a sooner flight and upgraded us to first class! Woot woot! Well we got spoiled we had French toast, turkey sasuage a biscutt and fruit for breakfast the stewardest called us my mr and mrs mcgee…awesome! And I got a good hour of sleep then the plane ride from you know where we are in the 2nd to last row of this huge long plane that sits 2 4 2 and I have the widow lance has the aisle and it was the most uncomfortable plane sit ever! And it was super hot the whole way so needless to say we got zero amount of sleep for the 7 hour and 50min flight we were on! Yuck! Now we are safe and sound in Madrid Spain with one more stamp in our passport and just 3 hours till our flight leaves to Venice! Ps the bathrooms are super clean here but the toilet paper….is sandpaper!

Well its been a few days since I last wrote in this which is not goo but I will finish where I left off
So Siberia is the plane we went on from Madrid to Venice it was about 2 and ½ hours and it was the longest worst flight ever! Lance and I both felt like Zombies! The sleepiness got us and we both kept dozing on and off and it was horrible and such a small plane our carry on’s had to go under the plane and we had a bus drive us to our plane! Crazy!! BUT THE WEATHER WAS GREAT! Well we got to Marco san Polo airport and was very blessed and VERY HAPPY that all our luggage got to us!  so after that we went to this ticket thing that was like a kiosk thing to get bus tickets well its all in Italian and we don’t know that language but low and be hold there is an English language/ British flag option! So we try to figure out what we want which is the bus not a water taxi or a water bus! But we want to get to VENICE! Well we are blessed again and looked for logos and found the same one on our ticket as on the sign and it was a bus and the man who was driving said Venezia which is Italian for Venice! Woot woot! We are navigating around this trip like pros! The bus ride is Beautiful we are tired but now that fact that we are in Italy on our way to Venice has awaken new energy that we didn’t know we had! We cross the big long bridge to Venice from the main land and Lance takes the Venice book from Rick steve’s who we love! Out and away we go! Luggage in hands and rolling we went to locate our hotel Henry we walked…and walked…and climbed up steps…with one big suitcase and a small carryon suitcase on wheels each and lance with a back pack and me with my purse……and walked….and climbed….and finally we figured out we were not going to find our hotel because we were in the WRONG AREA! There are no straight streets in Venice nor are they labeled well or have side walks its just stones and rocks and they are pretty uneven and now the tiredness kicks in and I’m thinking we are screwed! We are not gonna find our amazing hotel that has a bed that is calling my name but Lance walking like he has been in Venice and knows where he is going puts us back on the right road and we come to wall and a small opening and lance stops a local askes us where and speaks Italian we know he is asking us if we need help or what we are looking for lance says Hotel Henry and shows him the book he says “ ahh Hotel Henry. Go (points to the left) go ( points to the right) Hotel Henry!” sure enough we go left and almost pass it up until I tell Lance Hotel Henry is what we want and he says yes and there it is on the right just like the kind Italian Man said! We check in and get a map of Venice the room is nice its small but is perfect for us the shower is tiny the toilet is weird! Lol but all in all nice I suggest us taking showers to help wake us up since we can’t go to bed for another 3 1/2 hours since its 3:30pm Venice time….and we are soooo tired our beds are SOOOOO comfy!! So we take our showers and begin looking at the city of Venice its amazing we are both amazed that we are in Venice we are starving and trying to find a place to eat not hard but trying to find a place that is cheap and had something we wanted to eat….we settle for a cute little place and ended up having the worst service and lance took a few bites and his tummy was feeling bad and my pizza was good cause I was starving we ended up walking back to the hotel since dinner took forever and lance wasn’t feeling very good we climbed into bed and I was out! Then I woke up to lance throwing up in the bathroom I asked him if he was okay since the other day I was doing that too…he then came back to bed and then a couple of hours later I woke up again to poor lance throwing up again! He ended up throwing up most of the night and thank goodness he didn’t have the runs then we slept in very late cause we were so tired and lance finally stopped throwing up I think we finally woke up at like 1 in the afternoon we got ready and began our walking we walked to our waterbus stop that is very close to our hotel and purchased a 48 hour ticket for both of us and it was the best 28 euros we spent! We took a water bus all around Venice and took tons of pictures and were amazed with the beauty and majesty of this great place! The buildings were amazing!! We found a great park in which I ate a sandwich from the grocery store COOP and it was amazing! An old guy/ bum was sleeping on one of the bench’s and he walked up and walked to the wall in the park with lots of trees and bushes and we both looked at each other and said did he just get up to go pee!? LOL it was very funny he just decided to go in the park! Lol we weren’t very impressed by the food. It was amazing we went to St. Marks basilica and it was beautiful and amazing! We loved Venice and very often we would just walk down a street and see where it lead and it was awesome! We got to see tons of cathedrals and got to meet an artist in his house and bought one of his works it was super cool and seriously amazing! I was a little worried Venice would not hold up to my high expectations but it completely blow my expectations out of the water! I LOVE GELATO!! We woke up one early early morning like around 2 and we could not go back to sleep we both laughed and talked a little bit and finally we fell back asleep! The hotel was nice we were hardly there so it being small was fine! I WANT TO GO BACK TO VENICE!!! MUCH MORE PICTURES TO COME!!!!

EUROPE BOUND!

I can't believe we have about 8 days till we are on a plane flying across the world to Italy!! We are so excited for the trip and vacation! This is when we both realize that not having kids can be SUPER fun as well! :) yes I would rather have a baby then go to Europe but I can't change that so We go with the Flow and embrace our DINK life :) Plus its the perfect timing since We plan on being in Chiropractic school this fall or Jan. 2012 so It's great to be able to do this and have a crazy amazing vacation before school starts and kids come. Cause lets be real we probally won't be back there for a long time if ever. So we are soaking up the sun! This is us making Lemonade out of life's Lemons :) lol

A Decade!

10 Years ago On a Beautiful Monday Evening April 2, 2001 We got a call from Duston saying Monica was finally progressing in her labor and that it wouldn't be long before there was a baby! so we packed in the Van and Drove to the hospital for some reason I am thinking it was Mesa Luthern....(monica correct me if i'm wrong) We waited in the waiting room soooo excited this was going to be the first grand kid on my family side and our first niece or nephew...it was a suprise so we didn't know what she was having! I don't remember the wait being to long when Dusty Came out tears in his eyes and Hugged my Dad it was such a sweet moment and finally he announced we got a healthy Baby Boy! We waited for them to clean up baby and then went in to see Monica the super Mom and of course our very new very first Nephew! When we got into the room we hugged Monica and then there he was.... The most beautiful Baby boy I had ever seen in my life beautiful brown hair and lots of it! he had Monica's lips and he was soooo cute! they told us his name was Clayton Lynne names after his Great Grandpas's and in that moment I couldn't believe I was an aunt! This little guy would know me as Aunt Brittany! He was so precious! I remember one night he was only a couple of months old and I don't know if I was Baby sitting or asked Monica if i could put Clayton down for bed time but I remember holding him and rocking him in the glider in their cute appartment on stapley and I was singing to him and staring at his cute face and I knew this little guy was going to grow up to be such a great kid and a Great young man! just like his dad :) He fell asleep and I thought how precious he is and how amazing it was that just a few months ago he was in our Heavenly Fathers presence. That little guy turns 10 today...this eveing around 8 to be exact. and I have no idea where those 10 years went! He is such a young man now and such a boy! I love it! but my goodness he grew up way to fast! 2 more years and he is a deacon, 6 more years he dates and 8 more years he graduates, 9 more years he becomes a missionary!! WOW!!! I love that he is 10 and still will give me huge hugs and cuddles with me :) He is amazing and so much fun to be around! I am so blessed and so lucky to be his Aunt! Happy Birthday Clayton!!

Not being "stressed"

I would consider myself one who doens't get stressed out very easily.....

HOWEVER lately I have been STRESSED TO THE MAX!! I don't think I have ever been this stressed before in my life and every where I read about making babies say stress doesn't help....RED FLAG! I need to figure out a way to destress......I thought of bubble baths with music...but often times when I get to thinking I can't calm my mind form going all over the place and end up getting more worried or stressed...

.....Any ideas of what you do to not be stressed!?

Progestrone Cream

Well Its March which is the first month my Dr. would perscribe CLOMID but I am a little scared to take it. I hate feeling moody and taking medications...so I'm useing Progestrone Cream i've read alot about it and think it will help. Last month I used it and I still Ovulated which is good cause i was really worried that after the MC it would through my PCOS out of wack but so far so good. I am tempted to go back on the HCG diet since after I was on that Lance and I got preggers but that Diet is seriously hard! lol So I figure one more month of Just Progestrone Cream next month maybe HCG and then CLOMID however I relaly wish March is our Month! cause if so the baby would be due in December! Hopefully on my Birthday!! that would be da bomb!
Last night I had a dream well it was really a dream but i was sleeping and i dreamed of the day we found out i was preggers and all those feelings I felt that excitement and joy hit me so real I woke up! It was such a bitter sweet feeling to wake up to. bitter because i don't feel that everyday like i did when i was pregnant and sweet because i got to feel that uttermost happiness again :) Next time I hope its real life and not me dreaming of days before.

I know this is random but Lance seriously is so incredible! I often wonder how I got so blessed and lucky to have him in my life as my eternal companion. He is so sweet and these years of pain and heartache he has been so sweet and kind and loving and understanding. I don't know what I would do with out him. He is totally and completely the perfect husband to me :)

with all the pain and heartache of TTC the closeness we have and the love we feel towards eachother because of this I know has made us a stronger couple and our marriage better and that is a wonderful blessing.

The OFFICE

Okay so I am IN LOVE with the Office!! and TBS is having a marathon or something tonight and Oh my gosh I forget just How funny this show is!! "Ryan started the Fire......" and the Pranks between Jim and Dwight....CLASSIC!!!!! This show makes my Heart Laugh :)

March Maddness...

Lance Loves March Maddness because its College Basketball so I'm sure here in a little while we will be watching ALOT of Basketball! lol

54 Days left till we Cruise!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! One of my Co-workers was talking about how he thought it was great that we are taking this opportunity while we have no kids to go to Europe.......I agree however please note....Those parents with those sweet little ones don't for one second think you are missing out on things because you have kids. I would trade every Vacation we have been on for A kid Any day! However life is what it is and in the situations we are in we need to enjoy and embrace it even when its hard to do so...So to all the parents who told me and Lance to enjoy the time we have together and so forth WE ARE!!:) but you can stop telling us now cause we get it and we have been enjoying it but we would really like to enjoy all poopy diapers, midnight feedings, no sleep ect....you get the picture So here is to hoping that after this amazing trip we get a surveneer that will last for a lifetime ;) lol

Forever and Always...

This last weekend we got to go back to San Diego where it all began for me and Lance he Proposed to me Jan. 10th 2007 in San Diego on the carnival Cruise Port! This was the first time we as a couple were going back to San Diego! We got to see our Dearest Friends get Sealed for Time and All Eternity and it was soooo Beautiful!! They are such a cute couple and perfect for eachother it was wonderful to see them get sealed and be a Forever Family :) They are amazing!

We had fun eating yummy food and being in the Beautiful City of San Diego and on our way home we drove through Snow it was sooo weird! who knew San Diego gets snow! It was one of the best weekends ever! We got a great deal on our hotel from Priceline! I recomend that! :) This weekend just made us that much more ready for our Cruise Vacation!! Life is Good! I feel soooooo BLESSED!!

Well Before the Kids start coming we wanted to plan a vacation that could keep us satisfied for a long time so Me and Lance are going on a Euopean Cruise we leave April 28th sail out of Venice on May 1st! 9 days cruising we are sooo excited! Carnival Magic here we come! we figure if we aren't preggers by May we shall have a Italy baby then! lol We are sooo excited!

Valentine's Day

V-day was a blast!

I made Mel's yummy Tortaleni (sp?) and yummy bread sticks and it was AMAZING! we had left overs that I got to eat for lunch! yum! we had a 4 course meal and it was yummy! We watched Bachelor and I am soooo Glad Michelle is gone!

So glad I was able to spend V-day with my love and am so grateful for all that he does for me and all of his support and love. He is such an incredible Man.

The Month of L.O.V.E

I love February! Its probably one of my favorite months...for many reasons....here is my list

1. My Daddy was born on the 12th

2. My sweet angel sister was Born on the 5th

3. The 14th is Valentines day

4. its the shortest month

5. every 4 years this magical thing happens and you get to add a day to it :)

6. I have always wanted to have a kid on February 29th! :)

so I'm not big on Valentines day cause honestly Lance does a good job through out the year spoiling me but its nice to see that everyone is thinking of doing something nice for their somebody special.
